Hog Works was founded in 1976 in a small 2-car garage in Topeka, Kansas. The shop was moved to the present location half way between Topeka and Lawrence on Highway 40 in Big Springs in 1980. A new larger shop was built for the business in 1983 in the same location. An additon was built in 1987 and a 40 x 100 ft building is currently under construction to be finished this year marking our 28th anniversary.

We perform almost all services related to Harley-Davidson motorcycles. If we can't supply the service in house, we will find a qualified service somewhere else. We can supply service top to bottom front to back for your HD needs. We have a frame machine to straighten most HD frames depending on the amout of damage. We, also, supply out of house chrome service including aluminium. We do in house paint striping, tank sealing and painting. We have access to several professional artists for striping and graphic designs.

We carry the largest inventory of parts new and used in our area. We stock new parts for 1948 through 1999. By maintianing dealer status with over 50 different suppliers, we are able to locate and receive new parts in a very reasonable amount of time. However, parts ordered today can not be received yesterday!!!

We stock Continental and Avon tires. We mount and computer balance tires for free when pruchased from us if wheels are removed from motorcycle. Customers will pay for removal from motorcyle and lift time if you want us to do so.
